This course is designed to prepare students for entry into the commercial real estate field by exposing them to the fundamentals of commercial real estate finance and economics, and then through the application of those fundamental concepts using actual practice scenarios on a variety of property types they are likely to encounter. It will provide a strong grounding in basic concepts that will help students who intend to pursue higher designations such as CCIM. It will also prepare agents who are interested in moving their field of business from residential to commercial, or residential agents who occasionally take part in commercial transactions.

Mastering Market Statistics is designed to equip real estate
license holders with the knowledge and skills necessary to
understand, interpret, and communicate residential housing market
statistics in a professional and ethical manner. Participants will
learn how to analyze commonly used market indicators including
inventory levels, months of inventory, absorption rates, median
sales price, average sales price, days on market, list-to-sale
price ratios, pending sales activity, and other key performance
metrics.
This course emphasizes the practical application of market data in
buyer and seller consultations, pricing recommendations,
comparative market analysis (CMAs), and negotiation strategies.
Students will also learn how to distinguish factual market
statistics from market opinions and forecasts while utilizing
local, regional, state, and national housing reports
appropriately.

clearly to consumers, and use market intelligence to provide
