Did you know that as a license holder you have legal requirements and regulations for engaging in the real estate business? Perhaps you also belong to a trade association connected to the real estate business that has a code of conduct and you see that as a requirement for engaging in the business. There is more to your requirements than a trade associa­tion expectations. It is every license holder’s responsibility to know and operate under the current laws applicable to their license. The course covers the requirements Texas law places upon all license holders regard­ing ethical conduct when facilitating a real estate transaction.

The Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) Designation is one of the most prestigious and widely recognized designations available to the real estate professional. REALTORS who successfully complete all three GRI courses have the privilege of joining the ranks of the elite group of REALTORS Institute graduates.
GRI: Business Skills is a required course for REALTORS to become eligible to obtain the distinguished GRI designation. It covers:
- Seller services,
- Buyer services,
- Technology, and
- Environment & green building.

Participants earn 30 hours of core credit toward the required Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) or broker’s license.

TACS 2: Commercial Real Estate Property Development.

Course credit hours: 30; Provider  Texas REALTORS® - 0001

The Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS) certification teaches you how to represent clients, perform market analyses, negotiate, and understand property development and management. The TACS will also equip you with skills in marketing and business development. This certification shows that you've pursued an intensive course of study in commercial real estate and that you're dedicated to providing the highest level of service to clients.

TACS 2: Commercial Real Estate Property Development is a required course for REALTORS® to become eligible to obtain the Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS). certification. It covers:
• Leasing, Property and Operations Management
• Valuation of Property
• Due Diligence
• Valuation considerations
• And more
Participants earn 30 hours of core credit toward the required Salesperson Annual Education (SAE) or brokers license. Alternatively, each TACS course counts for 10 hours of Continuing Education (MCE) credit.

Perhaps you belong to a real estate trade association that has a code of ethics as a requirement for engaging in the business. Texas law and the various trade association code of ethics are similar yet not identical. This class is about your license requirements not, trade associa­tion expectations. The course covers the requirements Texas law places upon all license holders regard­ing ethics and conduct when facilitating a real estate transaction.
