Perhaps you belong to a real estate trade association that has a code of ethics as a requirement for engaging in the business. Texas law and the various trade association code of ethics are similar yet not identical. This class is about your license requirements not, trade associa­tion expectations. The course covers the requirements Texas law places upon all license holders regard­ing ethics and conduct when facilitating a real estate transaction.

Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) 
is one of the most prestigious and widely recognized designations available to the real estate professional. REALTORS who successfully complete all three (3) GRI courses have the privilege of joining the ranks of the elite group of REALTORS Institute graduates.

GRI: Real Estate Brokerage is a required course for REALTORS to become eligible to obtain the distinguished GRI designation.
 
Topics include:
- professional standards
- policies & procedures
- brokerage and agency relationships
- and business development.
 
Participants earn 30 hours of core credit toward the required Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) or broker’s license.

To earn the GRI Designation, all three (3) courses have to be completed:

Mastering Market Statistics is designed to equip real estate
license holders with the knowledge and skills necessary to
understand, interpret, and communicate residential housing market
statistics in a professional and ethical manner. Participants will
learn how to analyze commonly used market indicators including
inventory levels, months of inventory, absorption rates, median
sales price, average sales price, days on market, list-to-sale
price ratios, pending sales activity, and other key performance
metrics.

This course emphasizes the practical application of market data in
buyer and seller consultations, pricing recommendations,
comparative market analysis (CMAs), and negotiation strategies.
Students will also learn how to distinguish factual market
statistics from market opinions and forecasts while utilizing
local, regional, state, and national housing reports
appropriately.

Upon completion, license holders will be able to confidently
interpret market reports, communicate statistical information
clearly to consumers, and use market intelligence to provide
informed real estate services while enhancing professionalism and
consumer confidence.
