Texas VA Home Loans
This course is designed to provide Real Estate Licensees with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the VA Home Loan Guaranty Program as well as the Texas Veterans Housing Assistance Program – the two most commonly used home loans for Texas military veterans. We discuss in depth the VA loan benefits, the pre-approval process, making offers, inspections, and using VA with VHAP, so that Realtors can better assist military home buyers as well as sellers who received VA offers on their homes. ABR ELECTIVE

Course #32071
Provider: REALTOR Academy - 0008
15 CE Credits

Regardless of how long a real estate agent has been in the business, seller agency has been available and more importantly, it remains the primary focus for agents across the country. However, since the advent of buyer agency and the emphasis on training how to be an effective buyer representative, it has become apparent we can no longer assume seller agents have the same level of effectiveness. The Seller Representative Specialist course is a 16 hour course designed to take a new agent to an accomplished level sooner and an already successful agent to an even higher level of competency. It focuses on the skills necessary to properly represent a property owner, including agency, marketing, and servicing the client.

Knowing how to help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales as well as help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities are not merely good skills to have in today’s market-they are critical. And while short sales and foreclosures are not for the faint of heart, agents with the proper tools and training can use these specialty areas to build their business for the long term.

Did you know that as a license holder you have legal requirements and regulations for engaging in the real estate business? Perhaps you also belong to a trade association connected to the real estate business that has a code of conduct and you see that as a requirement for engaging in the business. There is more to your requirements than a trade association expectations. It is every license holder’s responsibility to know and operate under the current laws applicable to their license. The course covers the requirements Texas law places upon all license holders regarding ethical conduct when facilitating a real estate transaction.
